Description
The PV-MON is used to measure DC current and voltage in-line of any PV-String or PV-module. This highly accurate device can be used for outdoor conditions as it is fully weatherproof. The shape of the PV-MON is designed is such a way that mounting behind any PV-Module is possible without special tooling.
The PV-MON is connected in between the already available cabling and does not interfere with existing inverters or measurement tools.
In addition to the voltage and current inputs, two high precision analog inputs are available:

- To measure a Pt100 temperature sensor (PV-module temperature)
- To measure a 0-100mV analog irradiance sensor
A fully isolated digital MODBUS-RTU is used to communicate with the instrument.
There are 2 models of the PV-MON:
PV-MON-LV (200V, 30A) , software controllable range: 60V, 100V, 200V
PV-MON-HV (1500V, 30A), software controllable range: 1500V
Galvanic isolations (2kV) are securing safe operations for both the sensors and the PV-side.
